for everyone
I know, I know. Why the heck is it taking me forever to post my pictures? Don't ask. I don't have a good excuse. haha!

Highlights from our last full day in Boracay:

1. Went to the secluded open-aired chapel behind Boracay Regency. It was a sight to behold! My cousin, Achi Lani, told us about the place & we decided to go there first thing after breakfast. Went there with Nicole & Tita Maribel. The rest of our companions had other plans.

2. Jonas melon fruit shake. Again. And tried their cheese pancake. Pwede!

3. First time I let a 7-year old handle Cleo (my DSLR). I must say, the kid has talent! Nela doesn't know anything about composition but she just instinctively points & shoots away! Well, she does have a surgeon for a dad & an interior designer for a mom.

4. Parasailing! Of course, I don't have pictures of myself parasailing. haha! I haven't seen the pictures from my Tita's camera, though. But gosh, I've never done anything as daring & life-threatening as that! I think we were about 50ft up in the air (not sure about how high we really were, but it was VERY high). It was like being on an empty highway with the car windows rolled down & the wind whipping through your hair & face. And the view was spectacular! I could "see" the entire stretch of Boracay. (I put quotation marks because I had to take off my glasses hehe.) Just before our time was up, we were lowered down onto the deep waters up to our waists. It was so exhilarating! However, I did suffer from a bit of dizziness that's why I chose not to join the others in the banana boat ride that came right after our Php2,000 per head parasail. @_@

5. Our first Boracay sunset! Throughout our trip, it rained during mid-afternoon till evening so we never got to see Boracay's breathtaking sunset. Buti na lang, God is good, & he blessed us with a really beautiful one on our last evening there.

6. Fire poi! Because we had a gorgeous rain-free afternoon, a lot of people were outdoors that evening. All the restaurants had their tables out on the sand, and some had live entertainment. I had the good fortune of being dragged by my niece, Denny, to go to D'Mall for some last minute pasalubong shopping. Along the way, we saw a couple of establishments with fire poi exhibitions going on for the tourists. Ang galing! I might not have given them justice with my photos, but it's a sight that you must get to see at least once in your life!

7. Zombie! When Denny were done shopping & sight-seeing, we went straight to one of the bars near our resort. We were all dying for a night out with alcohol & we were lucky enough to finally have one on our last night in Boracay. Ang sarap ng Zombie, I must say. hihi but I only got to drink half a glass. I don't think I even finished it. Kung iced tea siguro yun, kayang-kaya kong tumagay. Mas lasing pa ako non, for sure. Hahaha!
