Woke up at 430AM to catch the sunrise. My cousins Nicole & Bianca and our niece, Denny, wanted to join me in my early morning photo session on the beach. I wanted to take shots of the grotto while it was still low tide and I also wanted to take shots of the sandbars along the coastline. There was actually another photographer taking shots of the grotto. In fact, I think she was there earlier. And with a tripod. And with a Crumpler camera bag. I was turning into the Hulk (read: green with envy, not anger).
While walking along the shore, i picked up a really nice piece of white coral, which I brought home to serve as a paperweight in the office, which I eventually gave to Nicolo (ACIL). hehe I also picked up a really clean, no cracks puca shell. It's about an inch & a half long and it was perfect. It's now sitting comfortably on the desk in my room.
Of course, there was the usual trash, e.g. cigarette butts, candy wrappers, empty Jonah's shake bottles. Then we came across a pretty unusual one. My theory was it was the skeleton of a circular kite. Anyway, I picked it up & gave it to one of the crew people of the nearest resort to dispose.
Oh, we stayed at True Home in Station One. Not bad. Not very expensive, considering we were at Station One. Great longanisa breakfast. Beautiful interiors, even the bathroom! They have a really nice presidential suite, too, with a balcony & all. Although, the view kind of sucks because palm trees fronted the resort. Oh well. :)
